Carrot powder is a finely ground, natural supplement made from dehydrated carrots. It provides beta-carotene, a plant pigment that can contribute to healthy colouration and general vitality in isopods and other detritivores when used as part of a varied diet.
It also contains small amounts of natural sugars and fibre, offering a mild energy source for microfauna in bioactive enclosures.
Usage Instructions: Lightly sprinkle a small amount into the enclosure once every 1–2 weeks. Use sparingly to avoid excess mould growth or imbalanced substrate conditions.
