Repashy Veggie Burger – Omnivore Gel Premix (Isopod Adapted Use)

Repashy Veggie Burger is a moderate-protein, plant-based gel premix originally designed for omnivorous reptiles but also works exceptionally well as an occasional dietary supplement for isopods and other detritivores.

Its balanced mix of pea protein, rice bran, seaweed, alfalfa, and natural plant extracts provides a controlled source of protein and micronutrients while remaining gentle on the colony. It’s ideal for species that appreciate a more varied diet or for supplementing nutrition in breeding setups.

Why It’s Used for Isopods

Supplies moderate protein without the excess that can upset colony balance

Adds plant-based vitamins, minerals, and natural pigments

Supports growth, moulting, and reproduction in active colonies

Offers variety for species that benefit from mixed feeding (e.g. Porcellio, Cubaris, Armadillidium)

We usually just use the powder directly but below are instructions for gel form

Usage Instructions (for Isopods)

Mix 1 part Veggie Burger powder with 3 parts water and stir until blended.

Heat until boiling (microwave or stove), stir again, then pour into a shallow container or mold.

Allow to cool and set until firm.

Once cooled, cut into small cubes or thin slices. Place a small portion in the enclosure and remove leftovers after 24–48 hours.

Prepared gel can be refrigerated for up to two weeks or frozen for up to six months.
