Lotus Pod – Natural Hide and Moisture Retention Feature
Lotus pods are the dried seed heads of the lotus plant, offering both a natural aesthetic and functional benefits for bioactive enclosures. Their hollow structure provides excellent hiding spaces for isopods and other invertebrates while helping to retain localized moisture.
As they gradually break down, lotus pods also contribute organic material to the substrate, supporting microfauna activity and promoting a stable, natural environment.
Usage Instructions: Place on or partially bury the lotus pod in the substrate. It can be positioned near moss or damp areas to help maintain humidity. Replace as it naturally breaks down over time.
