These isopods thrive in enclosures with plenty of vertical climbing opportunities. Include natural materials such as branches, cork bark, and decaying wood to replicate their environment.
Ensure strong ventilation throughout the enclosure — stagnant air can quickly become harmful.
Diet
Their primary diet consists of decomposing organic matter, including leaf litter and rotting wood.
For a balanced diet, supplement with:
Calcium sources: cuttlefish bone or limestone
Protein sources: fish food, dried shrimp, or bug burgers
These additions support healthy growth and reproduction.
