Dried Mealworms – High-Protein Supplemental Food

Dried mealworms are the dehydrated larvae of the mealworm beetle (Tenebrio molitor). They provide a natural source of protein and fat, making them a useful supplement for isopods, millipedes, and other detritivores that benefit from additional protein in their diet.

When used occasionally, mealworms can help support reproduction and growth in isopod colonies and contribute to a balanced feeding routine alongside plant-based foods and decaying matter.

Usage Instructions:
Crush or break into small pieces and offer sparingly once every 1–2 weeks. Overfeeding protein can disrupt microbial balance in the substrate and may lead to mould or mite issues.
